ABOUT ME

Im an outsider multi-instrumentalist/signer/songwriter/ producer from Poland. My main influences are artists like The Beatles, The Beach Boys, David Bowie, Half Japanese, R Stevie Moore, Blur, Black Midi, Black Country New Road, St Vincent, etc.I produce my music at home on Ableton10 Live. One half of my catalog is done with cousin Gabryś under the name The Stomaks. The other half I made all by myself, playing all the instruments and producing the music. Sometimes I collaborate with friends such as Szary Szalik, Mikster, Frank Steward, The Dean or Magdissima.I am currently 18 years old and I have been uploading my music on the internet since 2021. I am just a teenager who is having fun making music and I hope that someone will appreciate my work.I have already recorded 5 albums, three with The Stomaks (one remains unreleased), and two solo albums. While listening to them you can hear my evolution as a songwriter/producer/performer. At first I had little experience in making music, but through the time I gained more confidence. All of my albums have some music videos (animations and live action). I also make art and feature films, but most of them are shown only to family and friends.

DISCOGRAPHY

Awful Blanket & Cool Jacket (2021)
(with The Stomaks)

This is my first attempt to write consistent material in order to record songs on a newly (back then) installed program Ableton 10 Live. My cousin Teo Pop was earlier The Stomaks drummer and I intended to make him do backing vocals for the album, but he left the band before recording sessions, so the band consisted of me (lead vocals, guitar, drums), my cousin Gabryś (keyboards) and my mum Magdissima (backing vocals). The album is not perfect. Songwriting, production, performance and sound quality show my lack of experience in using Ableton and making albums. The first half of the album would have some potential if it had been recorded properly, but the second half is a bit cringe in my opinion. It shows my growth as an artist, so if you like my other albums, this one will be interesting to listen to it too.

Kind Of Lifestyle (2022)

With more and more confidence on Ableton I was experimenting with sound and structure of my music. Songs like “Eating Rice”, “Song About Drugs” or "Ineffective Band” are the results of that experimentation. They were fully improvised on the spot. I also did some re-editions of my older, unreleased tracks, like “Snakes Wife” or “Exploded Socks”. Only a few new songs on the album (for example "Kind Of Lifestyle”) were fully written before the recording process. The sound quality is still not the best, but I am really satisfied with the production and songwriting here. Of course, you will still find a few worse tracks, like “GarageBand Flow”, but also some really good ones, like “Eating Rice”, "Song About Drugs”, “Creator20” and "Guitar Teacher”.

The Stomaks (2022 remake) (2022)
(with The Stomaks) (UNRELEASED)

This album is unreleased for a good reason. It is a remake of an unlistenable The Stomaks first album from 2017, recorded on dictaphone and played by 10 yo kids that did not know how to play instruments. The album featured 10 tracks, so here we re-recorded the songs with different melodies, production and performances, but the same lyrics. There are some of my best production here, for example “Scary Woman”, “Two Bands”, “Love In Whiskey Bar” and “Long Time”. It is also the first album with lead vocals from Gabryś, because until that point I was the only lead singer in The Stomaks. Unfortunately the lyrics are still as horrible as in the 2017 version, so we do not want to show it to the world. I was even thinking of re-recording the vocals in order to upload it on the internet, but I would rather focus on something new.

Voice (2023)
(with The Stomaks)

In the late 2022 I composed “It’s Almost There” and it was my best achievement as a songwriter at that point. So I spent the following year composing serious and complex material for a concept album about certain issues of human being. I wanted it to sound perfect. With the help of my guitar teacher I installed digital amps on my computer, so the sound of my songs would become cleaner. And they indeed made my songs sound better. It is the last Stomaks album, because my cousin Gabryś lost interest in making music. At the time I was making “Voice”, my high school friends Szary Szalik and Mikster were making an album “KIERKEGAARD”, so we could later compare our work and have a real artistic connection. I am really proud of ,”Voice’", most of the things here went perfectly and there are my most ambitious tracks here, like “Vegetable Mind”, “The Window”, "It’s Almost There” and “Male Voice Is Back”. It’s also really consistent. In today's perspective I wouldn't include “Fantasy Sucks” on the album and I would also change some elements in lyrics and production.

Appropriate Album (2024)

After the break up of The Stomaks I wanted to make more commercial stuff with some hit songs. I was also a fan of The Beach Boys 70s Brian’s Back era, especially the Adult/Child album, so the track list order and vibes of the songs are based on that. My other albums are fully produced on Ableton, but here tracks, like “My Big Sunglasses”, “Lonely Teenager” and “Appropriate Track” were partly produced on GarageBand. I also used less guitars and more keyboards due to my new wave influences. This is my best album for now, because it’s my latest one, so I am the most experienced as a songwriter and producer here. I collaborated with my friends here, like Szary Szalik, Frank Steward and my mum Magdissima. It's also my only album that have a music video for every song. My favourite tracks from here are “Lonely Teenager”, “Our Thing”, “Why Can´t I Fall Asleep?” and “Song for Gargamel", but I think everybody will find something for themselves from here. Since then I have only released three singles, “Beast", “Eternally In Love” and “Children In The Class”. I will adjust my consistency in releasing records to my life situations in the future.
